Job Description
Recent storms have provided fresh opportunity in the Philadelphia area. Roof Positive is looking for sales and project managers in the area. Are you a high-performing restoration professional who is tired of building someone else’s empire? Roof Positive is offering a unique “Path to Ownership” in the Philadelphia metro area. We are also looking for a powerhouse Sales Manager to spearhead our Philadelphia operations. This isn’t just a management gig—it is a working interview for a Franchise Partnership. You will start by running the sales floor and production flow, with a structured roadmap to transition into the Franchisee/Owner of this location.
Compensation Structure
Competitive Base Salary: Stability while you build the market.
Personal Sales Commission: High-percentage payouts on your own deals.
Management Overrides: A stake in every dollar the Philadelphia office generates.
Franchise Equity Path: A defined vesting or buy-in schedule to transition from Manager to Franchise Owner.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Recruit, train, and “shadow” a team of reps to master both Storm Restoration (insurance claims) and Retail Trades (roofing, siding, gutters).
Market Expansion: Build the Roof Positive brand in Philly through localized marketing, networking, and canvassing strategies.
Dual-Model Mastery: Balance high-margin retail contracts with the technical precision of Xactimate-based insurance claims.
P&L Responsibility: Manage the office budget, material costs, and labor to ensure the location is profitable and ready for franchise transition.
Full-Cycle Oversight: Ensure “The Roof Positive Way” is maintained from the initial inspection to the final gutter installation.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience: 5+ years in roofing/exterior trades with a proven track record in both storm and retail environments.
The “Owner” Mindset: You don’t need to be micro-managed. You treat the company’s capital and reputation as if it were your own.
Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Xactimate, CRM systems (AccuLynx/JobNimbus), and local PA building codes.
Leadership: You have a “follow me” leadership style. You don’t just tell people to knock doors; you show them how it’s done.
